I am a college professor and a Zen practitioner I have completed my training and Shuso Hossen ceremony and thus I hold the designation as a “Teacher/Monk/Priest” which ever designation you prefer.
My focus on this blog is centered around the teachings of mindfulness and Buddhism and the principles that can help everyone live a more peaceful, compassionate, and loving life. You can see all of the workbooks that I’ve created on Buddhism at https://kucampus.academia.edu/KathleenBishop
Please feel free to download them and use them and share them with anyone that you feel would be interested in reading them, learning some basic principles of Buddhism, and practicing the principles in their lives.
Plus, I work as a corporate trainer teaching management and supervision courses along with support staff training. My classes are filled with fun and excitement and everyone goes away with loads of tools to take back with them to improve their productivity, team work, and talent on the job!
I hope what I write and post on my blog and website will demonstrate all of these parts of me and more. I hope that what I write will inspire you to be all that you have been and more of what you desire to be each and every day. I would love to have you check out the Southern Palm Zen Group website at this link and if you ever get to Palm Beach County, Florida, I hope you’ll come sit with them!

Thanks for the Seminar held today in Career Source, Hollywood. I learned and enjoyed a lot. I am the student that told you that I reviewed your page. It was a great experience including the heavy rain.
You are very welcome! I enjoyed meeting you and all of your classmates it sure did cut the time off though with those two storms! I’ve never taught in the dark before and appreciated the continued attention and interest in the practices and ideas. I hope you’ll come visit us at Southern Palm Zen Group soon. This Saturday we are having a 1/2 Zazenkai with a talk from our teacher Mitch Doshin Cantor. You can check out the details at meetup.com Southern Palm Zen Group. Enjoy this beautiful day! I really enjoyed the Zen Can, and Kakushin’s commentary, he is expressing a deep commitment to, and understanding of Buddha’s teaching.
I am glad you enjoyed the work that our friend did. He is working diligently on being an integral part of the prison zendo and expanding his understanding of the principles. In gassho, Shokai
